Mists of Avalon Inspired Gown

Probably one of my favorite dresses I have ever worn. I made this a few years ago and wore it out, though it had tube sleeves instead of belled. It is so comfortable and flattering. I have a relatively small chest and waist, but huge hips and this hugged my chest and waist while just gracefully draping over my hips making me look much more curvaceous than I am. This is much better crafted with french and bias bound seams and a hand stitched hem. It can be embellished in so many different ways; faux lacing detail can be added to the front, braid added, the yoke can be embroidered. The dress also has 5 different sleeve options; sleeveless, slashed belled, belled, tube, and with false sleeves.
Lady of Avalon dress

This is made from 100% polyester chocolate crepe and champagne satin. Unfortunately, my supplier does not carry these colors anymore, and while their ivory is very close to the champagne, their new brown is not at all near the same shade. It is much darker; in fact, it looks almost black.  See my etsy store for details on purchasing,28 Sides Designs.
For this dress, it’s about a 4-day turn around (from the time I receive the order to when it leaves my workshop).
